The Adolescent Clinic provides outpatient services to approximately 160 male youth, age 14-18 years old, through a grant from The Department of Juvenile Services. The clients are housed in 4 Youth Centers located in Allegany and Garrett County. The average stay in the centers is 5 to 6 months.

Other Services

Acute Care is provided for injuries and illness.

Chronic Care is provided for conditions such as asthma, acne, and allergies.

Mental Health counseling is provided in each Youth Center by Licensed Mental Health Professionals.

Crisis counseling is provided by the Outpatient Mental Health Unit at the Allegany County Health Department.

Services are provided directly in the Youth Centers by Registered Nurses who visit several times a week to update immunizations, assess health needs, and provide health counseling and education.
