Campaigns and Promotions for sharing information and increasing public awareness through educational displays and mass media campaigns.

Participating in Special Events dedicated to promoting the prevention of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) abuse such as: National Red Ribbon Week; Back to School Nights; Great American
Smokeout, World No Tobacco Day and Health Fairs.

Obtaining Grant Money and Offering Technical Assistance for community groups dedicated to providing services for substance abuse prevention. Some organizations currently receiving funding are: YMCA Junior Leadership program; CRIMA (Concerned Citizens in
Maryland Avenue); Archway Station; and Cumberland Housing Authority.

Participating on Community Committees and Task Force Groups which provide prevention programming in Allegany County.

School Program which offers alcohol, drug and smoking prevention services upon request to any school in Allegany County.

Education Presentations which increase public awareness and offer specific information and skill building designed to aid in Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Abuse education and prevention. Presentations are designed for any age group (toddlers to senior citizens) and any specific target population.

Free Video Lending Library which makes educational videos available for use by community groups and individuals. Brochures and video synopsis are available on request.
