Our Mission

The Allegany County Health Department Outpatient Addictions provides assessment and treatment services to individuals and families experiencing chemical dependency and chemical abuse.

We believe it is our responsibility to respond to the needs of the community. It is our role to help identify the need for our services within the community, and provide quality treatment to those who need our services.

We believe crises often pressure individuals and families into seeking treatment. We view these crises as opportunities to break through the denial that is part of the disease process. We, therefore, strive to offer treatment services at the time of request.

Chemical-dependent individuals and families often present a variety of needs. We consider it to be part of our role to identify client needs that cannot be met by our program, and to make appropriate referrals to community resources.

We believe our treatment services should be available to all within the community who need them and, therefore, offer all services regardless of ability to pay.

We believe that helping individuals and families recover from chemical dependency will ultimately reduce its prevalence in our community, resulting in an improved quality of life both now and for future generations.

Friday 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Clinic Fees
Fees are determined on a sliding scale for
residents of Maryland. Insurance reimbursement is accepted.
